Randalls is a Grade II listed former department store which is being converted into high-specification apartments for professionals or downsizers. Our landscape design strategy aims to optimise the site layout for the required vehicle tracking and parking, as well as creating a green and social space that will enhance the biodiversity of the site and the lifestyle of the residents.
The proposed landscape scheme contains a high-quality central courtyard with a flexible shared space. This area will have limited vehicle access (for emergency and disabled drivers only), thereby creating an attractive pedestrian approach to the development. It will accommodate passive and active leisure activities as well as providing restorative green space for the residents to enjoy.
