Sheraton Hotel
A superior first impression
location: Ankara, Turkey
Project Type: Commercial
Client: Sheraton Hotel
Our clients asked us to upgrade the landscape of the approach and entrance to their prestigious hotel and conference centre in the city centre of Ankara.
Our design will refresh and revitalise this vital area to make the right first impression with visitors, transforming it from a soulless car drop-off point to a sensory focal point for the hotel.
We have readjusted the layout for better circulation of cars and specified the type and colour of hard landscaping paving materials. Attractive evergreen cloud pruned trees act as green sculpture and dramatic multi-stem trees with spring interest create a high-impact and exciting welcome. In line with the hotel architecture and interior design, the planting scheme has a modern feel with a bold and lush green look. It includes modern ornamental grasses in drifts, topiary balls, and interesting perennials all year long.
Overall the concept is prestigious, contemporary and provides a unique and unforgettable identity for the hotel.
